To remove sugar and other water-soluble substances use only water remove soft wax from the pad, use a napkin\/cloth, and if needed use citrus cleaner, paraffin oil, or any mineral-based oil followed by sanitation protocol. Do not use bleach for sanitizing the pad. We recommend using a sanitizer based on alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chlorides such as Barbicide, Mar-v-Cide, or Cavicide. Do not leave the sanitizer to soak as this may cause discoloration.
